ThomaS Stubbs

Pastor

The Reverend Thomas Stubbs was appointed to the United Methodist Church of Mount Kisco and Yorktown United Methodist Church in July of 2025. He previously served Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Grace United Methodist Church in Putnam Valley, and Yorktown UMC. Thomas earned his Master of Divinity degree at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. He believes that when we follow Christ, we discover more about who we are and who we are meant to become as beloved children of God, and his chief joy as a pastor lies in creating opportunities for folks to do just that.

Thomas is a Knoxville, Tennessee native—Go Vols!—and in his free time, he enjoys any opportunity to engage with the world of theatre and choral music—whether as an audience member or an enthusiastic (amateur) participant! At any given moment, he can be found spending quality time with friends, reading, writing, and doing so-so impersonations of long-dead television personalities.

As a United Methodist Minister, Thomas is appointed not only to Mt. Kisco UMC and Yorktown UMC but to the Northern Westchester Cooperative Parish, a collection of regional, integrated United Methodist congregations in our area dedicated to serving the Lord and showing forth God’s Kingdom together.

Paul Martinez

Director of Music

Paul Martinez directs the choir and often adds his voice to their anthems. He also accompanies all of the congregational singing on piano or organ. Paul has worked as a music director, vocal coach, and accompanist for more than 15 years at young adult programs, including the Vivace Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles’ Chinatown, Random Farms Kids’ Theater in Westchester County, and Astoria Performing Arts Center’s Summer Stars program in Queens.  He has also served as pianist for both the English and Greek services at the Steinway Reformed Church in Astoria.

Marianne Baldwin

Church Secretary

If you call or visit the United Methodist Church of Mount Kisco, Marianne's may well be the first voice you hear. She keeps the church organized and handles many of the requests from both the community and the congregation. When you have a question, she probably has the answer. Let Marianne welcome you into our community — get ready to meet a new friend.
